What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow us to remember your preferences and understand how you use AccessShield.
Essential cookies
Required for the platform to function. These include session authentication tokens (Clerk), CSRF protection tokens, and preference storage. You cannot opt out of essential cookies while using the Service.
Analytics cookies
We use PostHog to understand how creators use AccessShield — which features are used, where users drop off, and how the product can be improved. PostHog analytics are self-hosted and privacy-respecting. You can opt out in your account settings.
Error monitoring
Sentry uses a minimal session identifier to group error reports. This helps us fix bugs faster. No personal data is attached to error reports beyond the information you've provided to your account.
No advertising cookies
AccessShield does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or sell data to ad networks. We do not run ads on our platform.
Managing cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in. For analytics opt-out, visit your account settings → Privacy preferences.
